Working as a cocktail server is a great way to bring in huge tips.

You just have to find the right establishment to work in. You need to know your drinks, get organized and have a happy, fun outgoing attitude. That positive attitude, even while feeling like a human pinball on a busy night, can make you a great income.

Slinging beer and serving shots, cocktails, wine and of course shooters is really quite easy to do. If you can stay on top of your tables and keep your customers happy you will be well rewarded. Make sure your tables are cleaned regularly and not sticky. Have ashtrays emptied after 3-5 butts. Try to make sure your customers are never sitting with empty drinks and dehydrating before your eyes.

Follow those simple guidelines and you WILL make tips. It really isn't rocket science. You just need to know the basic fundamentals and practice them always. There are other easy to learn "secret methods" to help you earn much more once you’ve got the basics down.

Being a GOOD cocktail server, in the right establishment, can pay all your bills with just a few shifts. Knowing the tricks of the trade can make this happen. If you are suited for this job you can have a great time, and make a great income as a cocktail server
